A Day in the Life

The overall purpose of the Business and Sales Support Intern role is to provide crucial assistance to the sales team by contacting customers, preparing offers, generating different reports, conducting cycle counts, and performing various administrative tasks.

The impact of the new intern will be significant, as they will enhance the efficiency of the sales team, improve customer engagement, and contribute to streamlined operations, ultimately driving growth and success in the business area. 

As Business and Sales Support Intern you will:

  • Support remotely selling Medtronic's products within an assigned customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Partner with the commercial team in order to promotes and educate on company's products and/or services when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with field sales representatives on shared accounts in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including lead qualification, sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, competitors activities and sales rep follow-up.
  • Collaborate with commercial team in follow up of tender execution in assigned territory, contracts validity and tender requirements.
  • Implement and follow up on appropriate usage of SFDC in collaboration with the commercial team.

 

Must Have

  • Recently graduated or in the final year of studies
  • Based in Ljubljana
  • Fluency in English and Slovenian languages
  • Good knowledge of digital tools and systems use, familiar with online meetings set-up and running, digital content sharing, social media
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Interest in sales

 

Nice to haves:

  • Driver’s license

 

Program Details:

  • Start Date: October
  • Duration: 6 months with the possibility to extend
  • Working time: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
  • Working model: hybrid (3 days in the office)
  • Based in Ljubljana
