Opis priložnosti
The position we are recruiting for is currently situated within the Public Health Unit, and the selected candidate will be reporting to the Head of sector Support to Policy.
The jobholder will develop, further enhance and promote the scientific competences of the EUDA, specifically in relation to the work of the Support to Policy sector.
The central task of this post will be to provide reliable and timely drug policy analysis. This will be achieved by developing and implementing policy monitoring and evaluation tools, analysing information and disseminating results, as well as through supporting the EUDA’s scientific analysts in drafting high-quality scientific outputs. It is important the jobholder has strong scientific writing skills.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway or Türkiye.
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.
- Have at least three years of relevant professional experience starting with the first position occupied after the completion of the diploma or certificate required for admission to this selection procedure, as mentioned above.
Essential requirements:
- A completed university degree in a relevant subject such as political science, social policy, law, public health, social sciences, criminology, epidemiology or a related field.
- An excellent academic background with good understanding of methodological and research issues.
- At least three years of proven experience in policy analysis, development and evaluation, in the field of drug policy, or a related area.
- Proven ability to write and edit high-quality technical and scientific papers.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution and reporting.
- Proven ability to adopt a flexible work approach that allows the individual to switch between a coordination and support role, as required.
Contract: 5-year contract.
